Are you a crane operator looking for a job that truly matters? One with a stable routine, appreciation for craftsmanship, and a team that has each other’s back? Then this is your chance. In Best, we’re looking for a crane operator for carcass processing. Not your standard job, but one with stability, shift allowance, and a clear role within a well-organized process.
What will you be doing?
You’ll work with a mobile excavator equipped with a sorting grab, within a fixed shift team. You sort animal carcasses: cows, calves, sheep, and goats. Large cattle are placed in a cradle using the crane for further examination. Smaller animals are separated and processed by a third party. Your responsibility is the careful and safe sorting of the animals using the crane.
You’ll work in a rotating 3-shift schedule (Monday 6:00 to Saturday 14:00) with the following shifts:
- 6:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
- 22:00 – 6:00
Who are you?
- Experienced crane operator with TCVT certification
- You speak Dutch or sufficient English
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and precise
- Comfortable working in shifts
- No objection to working in a niche environment
